Little Snippets........
Mid-April Snippets....
Every now and again I will come home from work on Saturday morning and find Grady in my bed. They are both such cuddlers.
The morning light gives no help to my pathetic phone camera but I still can't resist taking pics of those little sleeping cheeks.
Jerrett and Grady having fun playing while Austin has baseball practice. The glorious weather lately is so dreamy.
I so love these two little cheesers!
Grady finally got tired of wandering around and found a spot to plop down in the grass and watch practice.
Jason's art work. He painstakingly cut out layers of colored foam to make a 3D Angels logo. He gave it a big thick coat of poly and framed it. Then he painted a shelf to match, added a logo and the boys have an awesome display for their spring training baseballs. I for one am impressed by my husbands craftiness! :)
Jason is heavily influencing the decor in the big boys room. :)

A New Blog
Hi. I have been loving all my recent organizing adventures but I don't love the posts taking over my family blog so I whipped up a new blog that is just for all my dorky little hobby posts. You can follow those activities if you'd like to at:

Most recently you can check out how I regained order of my desk.

The "Launderette"
I really need to charge my camera battery because I've been using my cell camera way too much lately. I've been working on my little laundry room.....and while these are all small changes....they absolutely make me feel better when I'm in there and I have been enjoying the task more. I don't want it to get messy and overrun with clothes. I really, really don't.....it's too cute now for that. :)
The vinyl was already in there but I just painted and sanded an old broken frame and asked Jason to drill a couple holes in it for me. Hung it with a ribbon and added a bloom and I think it's pretty cute.
Ok....I don't really need these things to be in glass jars but I do like how simple laundry supplies can become kinda pretty to look at. Here's the biggest reason for this change: The top of the dryer is now off limits for dumping clean clothes!!!
My little cup of white board supplies for my new chore board.
The one big shelf now hold baskets so I can store more things without it looking too crazy up there. This big basket is for taller bottles and spray cleaners. I've had those little rose pots since our newlywed apartment days....I just added a ribbon. I must have known way back then that they'd someday match my "Launderette". :)
Blessed pretty labels....I love them. I probably should invest in a laminating machine since I've been going nuts making and laminating labels lately....oooooh and a Silhouette machine so I can label every stinkin thing we own! :)
I kinda want to paint the shelf and brackets bright red now.....it still looks so beige in here to me.....but I hate painting so much so I'm doubtful it will ever happen. I told Jason I want a small chandelier from Ikea in here and he finally couldn't hold back his eye-rolls anymore. "It's a LAUNDRY ROOM!!" he said. I set him straight about it being a "Launderette" now and how it's okay for a Launderette to have a chandelier. :) I have these non-HE appliances that look so uncool but are fabulous little workhorses and the Launderette is a great place to be.

Baseball Draft
Austin participated in a draft for baseball this year. The coaches watched the players and made picks for their teams. Hopefully this will help keep the teams a little more equal and balanced.
The weather was cold, rainy, and very windy but Austin did great. Here he is in the center of the photo in a blue jacket. For 20 minutes straight he made great throws and awesome catches. He did so good and showed that he was there to play ball....I was very proud of him.
All the boys with their numbers pinned to their backs getting their station assignments.
Austin lunging for a fast ground-ball as the coaches and their clipboards looked on. He did great and showed a lot of hustle. Way to go Austin!!!!
Easter 2012
Austin and Jerrett finding their baskets in the morning. Aaahhh, aren't they such cute boys?! I'm so proud to be their momma.
Searching for plastic eggs and other treats in the backyard before church.
The kids getting to help gather eggs at Bryan and Bridgette's house.
Bryan and Bridgette did a super cute, color-coded egg hunt for the kids.
The little kids had fun with the T-ball equipment.
The Birth of Yolko and Mario
I love the reason for Easter and remembering Christ's Resurrection and his sacrifice for us. But a lot of the other parts of Easter I don't love. I don't know why but I just don't get a whole lot of excitement about egg hunts, Easter baskets, and I just don't love the Easter Bunny thing.
I felt bugged about feeling pressure to dye eggs. But as I watched my boys excitedly planning out how they wanted to dye their eggs, watched their creativity, watched the drying rack fill up with vibrant colors, and smelled that faint familiar vinegar smell of the dye.....I was really glad we were doing it. I was glad to whip out my cell phone and snap a few pictures. Someday they'll smell hard-boiled eggs and vinegar dye and remember that we used to do this. They love it, it's their memories, and so we do it. Two days of dye-stained skin is not THAT big of a deal. :)
This was Austin's egg he drew a face on and named "Yolko". :) Jerrett made one named "Mario". Everything is all about Mario these days for Jerrett.

Spring Break
I LOVED that spring break this year combined with teacher days to give the kids a full week off of school.
Grady wore himself out and found a chair to sleep on in the bonus room. I can't believe he couldn't think of anywhere more comfortable.
I took Austin and Jerrett out to dinner and to see "Journey 2". Here's the boys stylin' in their 3D glasses.
We made our debut trip to "Goon" as Grady calls it....and Goon did not disappoint. The weather was fantastic and there was hardly a line anywhere. We met up with Erin and Luke and the day was just that much better.
Jerrett, Luke, and Grady
The first ride & Grady's first time on the Dragonfly. He loved it and giggled like mad.
Kontiki Boat hilarity
Austin does not really want to do the kiddie rides anymore but he's still a good sport to tag along with Grady.
Grady's ultimate favorite...the train.
Me and Erin.....being around her is always comfortable and fun.
Mom and Austin on the Turn of the Century (swings)
The worker unbuckled Grady but he didn't get out. So the worker just did his seatbelt back up and started the ride again since there was so much demand for the the ride. :)
Jerrett climbing a tree in pioneer village outside of the jail.
Grady and all his friends on Bulgy. :) Not even his brothers could be persuaded to participate in the shame of Bulgy. He didn't mind a bit having the whole pod of whales all to himself.
Because Erin was there, Austin and I got a chance to have our brains rattled on the old Roller Coaster. I still love it!
ALRIGHT STOP.....CHURRO TIME!!!
I wish I could tell the gardeners at Lagoon that their efforts are not in vain. I enjoy the living daylights out of their work.
Mom and Jerrett on the Skyride.
Me unable to let go of those tiny legs since they looked soooo small hanging out of the skyride car.
Grady posed for me while the bigger kids went on the tilt-a-whirl with Erin. I love my little blue-eyed buckaroo!
I love how intrigued the boys are to get a new map and look over it again and again after we get home. Having little boys is the BEST! It's hard to say goodbye to spring break and makes me anticipate summer with my favorite little guys like crazy!
