Flowin.....

I'm happy to say that I'm feeling it comin' back.....the flow, I mean.  This week is shaping up to have a flow that is much easier to 'go with'. :)

Hanging with two incredible ol' cowboys that I love....Dad and Grandpa Coon.

Erin, Mom, Aunt Sheron = lovely visiting time!

Alex and Grandpa Coon & Grandma Laurie

At our cute neighbors' birthday party

Jerrett and Grady swimming with some little ladies at the party....they loved it.

Short weeknight trips to Lagoon are my favorite.....

New, state-of-the-art things are awesome.....but so are things that never seem to change....pop music booming, 'Turn of the Century' lights reflecting off of the water, smell of Churros, back-and-forth screams coming from the 'Tidal Wave', a train whistle.  I could be eight again and the scene would be the same.

The kids definitely seem to love Lagoon best at night too.

Austin singing along to the OneRepublic "Good Life" song....love it.  Good Life indeed!

One little three-year-old head watching the fountain.

I remember doing the same thing about 25 years ago.....it's old but the Bamberger fountain is still pretty cool to me!

Instagram photos (BTW...I totally think instagram is the most charming of social media)

Train ride around the lake.....with probably only 12 other people (9pm on a Tuesday night is a great time for a train ride!)....my nostalgia bone was so happy that I just had to buy the kids some cotton candy. :)

If we go on the train in the dark, when we go through the dark tunnel, Grady sits on my lap and squishes his face against mine.  I snapped a flashless photo and couldn't really see much of anything. After applying instagram filters I now know that through the tunnel Grady sticks his tongue out. :)  I love this crazy photo!

The Braves had an awesome season! Here they are practicing for the playoffs....proud of them....they've been so fun to watch.

Grady, Riker, Halle, and Austin....they were all covered in hay, dirt, manure(Grady), and now water.  Getting all messy at Grandpa's barn with cousins is the best!

A new post at System of a Deez is up too if you want. ;)

Many Pictures; Less Patience......

Things have surely slowed down on the organizing/home scene since school has been out.  There are still a few projects happening here and there though...... I did finally make a new post on System of a Deez, check it out if you wish!

I have to admit that my patience levels are struggling more than I expected them to as I anticipated the summer.  The kids have always gotten along so well and they are struggling with that.  They seem to often be on each other's last nerve and it's making me a little bit nuts.  I'd love to find an injection of liquid patience that would help me react to every situation with a perfect and calm resolution that everyone can be happy with.  I'm not going with the flow as much as I'd like to be.  I wish I could say that I never yell.  I yell way too much.  Something to work on for sure!

 Sprinkler Run

 I love the "superman swing"....

 Sprinkler Rainbow.....
 Saturday backyard bbq......

A gungan warrior showed up. :)

I love my awesome charcoal master......these ribs were slow cooked to serious perfection.

On Father's Day Jason's parents and Bryan's family came over and spent a great afternoon with us.  Grady and Granny.

Cousin Brinklee, Jerrett, and Granny
We walked over to the park and the big boys flew Bryan's new plane.....he was quickly really good at it and it was fun to watch!

 Cousins hill rolling

Dang, sometimes I forget to look at them but the mountains are so awesome!

Grumpy Austin looking back at the sunset. :)

Headlock slide ride....it's a wonder they don't get hurt more than they do!  They think this is so fun.

The boys are always very excited to play with cousins.

We had an awesome and very spontaneous trip with Aunt Margie to the aquatic center this week and it was a blast.  I let my head get burned which I HATE so if you see me and I have dandruff you'll know why! :)

Grady is still not too crazy about deeper water or floatation devices so this place is so great for him.

Austin snorkeled all over the place....

Warming up on the the hot concrete after a few trips down the waterslide....he had a blast.

We went home to have lunch and Grady fell asleep on his hotdog! :)

 Enjoying hammock time

Jason got a new TV that will probably count for all his gifts for the rest of year but we made him this cute little Father's Day bucket too....I think he liked it. :)

The other day the boys were awesome little helpers and they didn't fight all day. We decided they earned a late night run to redbox to pick a movie and some little oreo mint shakes.

Harry Potter marathon in the playroom.
