Christmas Joys!

We went to a fun party at Granny & Grandpa's in Brigham City....great food and a surprise visit from Santa!  It was so cute - memories being made for sure.

These were some seriously happy kids!

Austin is so much like Jason it's scary sometimes!

I didn't get too many pictures of everybody on Santa's lap since I was recording video but all of us got a chance to declare our heart's deepest Christmas desires!
Santa talked a whole bunch to the kids about the real reason for the season......it's great to hear Santa reminding the kids to think about Jesus Christ.

 The kids opening their gift......

Adorable Christmas pillows to invite beautiful Christmas dreams....so dang cute.  It was a wonderful night.

Our elf, Jingle, making himself known....playing in the salt! :)

A Day to be Thankful For......

Being with loved ones....playing games.....seeing happy children.....eating fabulous food till we are stuffed....WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?!?!

Seriously, what a great day.

Random November

There's nothing like a visit from some fabulous friends that live far away.  We were excited that Brynn and Jet could squeeze us in during their trip to Utah in November.  The boys had a great time playing and Brynn and I got some delightful grown woman talking and shopping time.

 Jet and Grady's big hug....awwww.

Jerrett's preschool class had a "Hibernation Day".  All the kids got to wear pj's and build little shelters to play in....he said it was the "best day ever!"

Our fabulous Den Chief Preston showing our cub scouts some fun things to do with dominos.....He is awesome and the boys look up to him so much.

It was early in November and I already had a bunch of Christmas things starting to come out.....my funny little cub scouts love to tease me about my Christmas nuttiness.

Austin and Jerrett LOVE to help make cookies.  This day we made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.  We tripled the batch in hopes that we'd have plenty to share and they'd be around a few days.  We only gave away one plate of cookies and it was embarrassing how fast the rest were gone! Oops.

Extra Chocolate Chips are a REQUIREMENT :)
