What our June looked like:
I love the arrival of summer....LOVE IT. All we wanted to do was play and cleaning was hard! After a couple of weeks of summer uproar and fun, actually having the great room area all clean felt like such an accomplishment. Here's our great room in June of 2013, the first time it had been this clean since school got out. :)
We did a couple weekends down on Monroe in June. It was quiet, green, and so awesome. We camped at what we call "The Cliff Camp" and Jerrett would look out over the view and say such adorable things like, "This is the most beautiful place in the world I think, Mom".
All crammed together but happily riding for hours on end.....this is why I love a non-hunt trip so much. We get Jason all day. Visiting the old Robinson "tree camp" and memory filled meadow.
Come on Dad! Let's Go!!!
Visting the old fort that Jason and Bryan built a couple of years ago, still as fun as the day they built it.
Poking at bugs. Always.
Instagram pics from June:
A big ladies night with all my favorite girls from Harrisville....awesome.
Baker Family Reunion in Hooper. Grady peed on the grass. In someones yard. In front of like 50 people. He keeps life so interesting. :)
The kids love the Mules. The Mules love the kids.
Grady was just dying to hold his new cousin Skylee.
After being pretty healthy all year, school gets out and Austin gets pneumonia. It was sad. He hardly had a single complaint. Such an amazing kid.
Foxy was very feisty with me on this night. She wanted Grady and if me or the other mules came near him she made her displeasure very known. He said, "Mom, she loves me so much. She is going to be so sad when I go home". :)
Feeling a little better and eager to get as much air as possible and make up for lost summer.
All my new tupperware after my party with Aunt Margie. Score! Some seriously awesome gadgets and the quality is so different from all my old stuff. My old stuff went out to the trailer and I will never miss it. My favorites are the classic Disney canisters...I hope my kids will remember pulling those out and baking with me! The giant green bowl allows for triple batches of pumpkin chocolate chip cookie batter...and it marinated the jerky of an entire antelope. Good stuff!
Austin rides with me and has to sigh at how often I have to stop to take pictures. :)
Telescoping in camp one night....or as Jerrett calls it "Skele-toping".
Target practice
Fathers Day: This is a replica of the brick layed at the home plate gate at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. The entrance is paved with bricks in the design of a baseball diamond. Jason's brick is over by third base. Can't wait to go see it in person.
Austin sporting his new clubs for the first day of Golf Camp.
Jason surprised me with this wildflower bouquet....loved it. Talk about smelling something that conjures memories!
Austin loved Golf Camp....blisters and all. After camp he joined a junior league and played once a week all summer long. He really enjoyed it.
Thanks for this angle that hides most of my body Jason...LOL! :)
"Oh sweet, ribs and a spine!"
Pack Night....a big turnout for the chalk art contest. Austin drew a moldy banana. Jerrett drew a sun and a robot. Grady and I shared a space...he drew "Junctions" from Thomas and I drew a trout. Grady and I won the grand prize but I think it was completely the junctions that put us ahead.
Our stubborn and hilarious little Grady.
Austin reading on the swing while his brothers practically bounce off of things in the backyard. :) I love their differences.
Splash pad fun with neighborhood friends, popsicles and cantaloupe.
